UBC Botanical Garden & Greenheart TreeWalk

About

The UBC Botanical Garden is a great stop for nature-lovers visiting the UBC campus. As a garden and research centre, it showcases 30,000 plants from temperate regions around the world. Here you’ll find a rainforest garden, alpine garden, food garden, medicinal garden, and more!

If you’re looking for adventure, the Greenheart TreeWalk is a fun (and affordable) alternative to the Capilano Suspension Bridge. For less than $20, you can cross suspended bridges high above the forest floor, take in the sights at the tree platforms, and unleash your inner Tarzan (without the hollering, of course). Be sure to check the hours online—the TreeWalk is typically closed from November to March.
